Pletkova’s vast experience has given her great insight into most fields of adult, and child and adolescent psychiatry. She has had the pleasure of being a Physician in Czech Republic, United States and New Zealand. Pletkova’s greatest passion is education and clinical work. Pletkova has over 25 years of experience in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Pletkova and her family moved to Arizona, worked in Prescott Arizona for a few years before she moved to University of Arizona where she became an Assistant Clinical Professor, involving with medical students, at the medical school, teaching and supervising residents and pharmacy student and medical students.ĭr. She became an Assistant Clinical Professor at George Washington University. She completed her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Washington DC. Pletkova decided to go into the field of Internal Medicine in Pennsylvania, and while in Residency she decided to specialize in General Psychiatry. Pletkova and her family moved to the United States. After completing her residency, she was a practicing general surgeon in Prague for a few years before Dr. Pletkova completed her medical studies at Charles University in Prague.
